Writing a story
So while my current manuscript is out with potential agents, I've decided to write a story. Yes, a story -- of a very different genre than my creative nonfiction work!
It will be fantasy, of a fairly dark bent. Any tips for a writer who hasn't written fantasy in a long time?

I'm agender; I use he/him pronouns in real life, and they'll do fine here, too. I have bipolar disorder, I'm on the autism spectrum, and I've recently got a diagnosis of DID. I study mental health in my PhD program and I write about it from a personal standpoint in my published books and essays.

I'm a Ravenclaw.
My favorite musician is Elliott Smith.
My favorite book is Bluets by Maggie Nelson.
